2018 CDTRP Research Innovation Grant Competition

The Transplant Research Foundation of British Columbia (TRFBC) is proud to partner with the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP) for the upcoming Research Innovation Grant Competition. The Addison Fund of TRF has committed $30,000 towards funding one grant targeted exclusively at pediatric transplant research.

The Addison Pediatric Transplant Research Fund was launched as part of TRFBC in 2013 by Elaine Yong and Aaron McArthur (parents of the first baby to undergo a heart transplant at BC Children’s Hospital). The sole purpose of this ongoing fund is to support research that addresses the specific transplant-related issues unique to pediatric patients.
