BC Transplant provides oversight for all aspects of organ donation and transplantation across BC.

 

Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute (VCHRI) is comprised of multidisciplinary researchers representing a diverse range of health disciplines and research institutes. VCHRI research discoveries have improved quality of life and changed the healthcare experience.

 

VGH/UBC Foundation raises funds for VGH, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehab Centre, VCHRI and Vancouver Community Health Services to ensure that hospitals and health care teams can deliver BC’s best, most specialized care for adults.

 

The Child & Family Research Institute (CFRI) is the largest research institute of its kind in Western Canada, spanning a wide range of children’s and women’s health concerns. There are 214 investigators, 42 affiliate investigators and 314 trainees affiliated with CFRI.

BC Children’s Hospital is the province’s only full-service, pediatric acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon. All children who are seriously ill or injured are referred to Children’s Hospital and are either treated at the hospital facility in Vancouver or, with consultation from Children’s specialists, in their home community.
